Dateline: 6.9.22 – Greetings Cruisers! The other day Karen said to me, “You know what? We haven’t had a Car Party here in a while. Let’s do one soon!”

So, here’s the deal; Saturday, June 18, from 2 pm to 5 pm-ish we are hosting a Meet’n Eat at our place. We are located directly behind the Lake Placid American Legion. Our address is; 79 Grandview Blvd, Lake Placid.

I will be making chili or jambalaya in a crock pot. Bring whatever you like; snackies or drinkies.

Just like our restaurant Meet’n Eat luncheons, we be eat’n and yack’n, and laugh’n a lot. Just hang’n out for a few hours.

Here’s how to get to our place.

You will have to use the Tomoka Heights public entrance. If you are driving South on Rt. 27, pass the American Legion, drive 1/2-mile and TURN RIGHT onto TOMOKA BLVD. SOUTH. If you are driving North on Rt. 27, pass the Lake Placid Citco on the left, drive 1/2-mile and TURN LEFT onto TOMOKA BLVD. SOUTH.

Drive past the Advent Hospital on the left and straight to the little guard shack and gate. At the Call Box, punch in ”102”, which will ring our phone, and I will remotely open the gate for you.

Go through the gate and turn RIGHT onto ROSEWOOD DR. NORTH.

At the first right, turn on to CRESTVIEW TERRACE and drive on, the street will bend to the left where it changes its name to GRANDVIEW BLVD.

Proceed to the STOP SIGN, pass through the Stop Sign and follow the street as it bends to the left.

79 GRANDVIEW BLVD. Will be on the RIGHT.
