Greetings Cruisers!
Yes, it sure was HOT last Saturday, but we sure had a good time!
Our Cruiser of the Month was Rick Broadway and his sano 1965 Chevy Impala Station Wagon. Rick’s machine is powered by a 383 Stroker engine. It looks sweet and sounds even sweeter! Congrats, Rick!
Our Cruiser of the Month runner-up was Joel Brand. This was Joel’s first Lake Country Cruisers Car Show, and he scored runner-up with his 1999 Mitsubishi Town Box. We’re all car guys and car gals, and honestly, none of us had ever seen a car like this. We love all machines, thanks, Joel.
We gave away $130 for the 50/50, and our pal Gary Brundell won the runner-up prize of a $50 gift certificate to Dock 633 on Lake June Road in Lake Placid. A BIG THANKS to Dock 633 owners, Bill & Hillary.
That was our last car show for the spring season. We will be back again on October 10, 2026. The show officially begins at 11:00 am and concludes at 1:30 pm. But you can arrive as early as you like, we’ll be there. And for all of you early attendees, we will have FREE coffee and Dunkin Donuts!
The Legion will be serving burgers and hot dogs out back on the grill, so bring your appetite along. And, if you are an American Legion member, you can get an adult beverage inside at Post 25’s friendly Bar,
And, don’t forget we have cool door prizes and a very generous 50/50, with a runner-up prize for one of Lake Placid’s restaurants.
Cool cars, Rock’n Roll music, prizes, FREE coffee & donuts, burgers & hot dogs on the grill, and great car friends!
